Sleep soundly: How rhythmic therapy improves your sleep quality

Sleep is the foundation of good health, while more than 50 million people in the United States suffer from sleep disorders, and nearly 9 million of them use prescriptions to help them get enough sleep.

Therabody and Biostrap conducted a number of tests on 73 healthy adults aged 18-40 who exercised at least three times a week for at least 30 minutes for five weeks to learn about the effects of rhythmic therapy on sleep quality.


During the first two weeks, participants lived their "normal lifestyle."

During the third and fourth weeks, participants used Therabody's Theragun devices in addition to practicing a specific routine from the Therabody app.

Participants used the Theragun protocol after a 30-minute workout and sleep protocol before going to bed, and in the fifth and final week, participants returned to their normal routine without an app Protocols.

The results of Therabody and Biostrap concluded that Theragun's rhythmic therapy was able to help 87% of participants fall asleep approximately five minutes faster than their usual bedtime on a "normal night."

In addition, 70% of participants slept longer at night, with an average lower wakefulness rate of 7% per participant. Finally, the results indicated that 56% of the participants had a higher overall sleep score considering sibling factors. Deep sleep, sleep quality, wakefulness, and movement.
